November is here. Do you all feel this way or is it just me?
Between the cold, the darkness, and the stress we begin to feel overwhelmed. We may begin to doubt our abilities to be effective and to get things done. We may also begin to be anxious about what is on our plate. I could list a million other feelings, but know that all of them end with you feeling dark.
The darkness can be scary. The darkness can be hard to take. The darkness can feel like it is never going to end. Our bodies, minds, and souls begin to crave light.
But here is the good thing. Through this dark, comes the light...and it comes at the perfect time.
It comes in the form of Christmas lights. It comes in the form of smiles on kids' faces when they talk about Santa. It comes in the mail with every Christmas card that you will get. It comes from a recipe of your grandmother's that you only use during this time of the year. It comes from giving to those who need it the most. Light can come from anywhere.
I encourage you all to look for the light. Turn to it. And more importantly, try to be the light in someone else's life.
Have a blessed and restful Thanksgiving.
